Tayler A. Helfand is an associate attorney at Simon Greenstone Panatier, P.C.
Prior to joining Simon Greenstone Panatier, Ms. Helfand started her career as a prosecutor at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office where she sought justice for victims on behalf of the People of the State of New York in Brooklyn. Tayler began her career prosecuting misdemeanor cases and was subsequently promoted to Senior Assistant District Attorney where she handled hundreds of serious violent felony cases. Tayler also coordinated complex long-term criminal investigations, indicted multiple cases in the Grand Jury, and conducted various court proceedings during all phases of misdemeanor and felony cases including trial.
Ms. Helfand graduated from New York Law School in Manhattan where she was awarded a scholarship for her academic performance. Tayler received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida graduating cum laude. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
Tayler currently resides in New York City with her fiancé and dog, Rue. She is a lover of all dogs and an avid traveler. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, friends, cooking, and rooting on the Florida Gators.
