Shaina Weissman is a trial attorney with Simon Greenstone Panatier, in the New York office.
Ms. Weissman represents victims of asbestos-related disease. Shaina represents workers exposed occupationally as well as non-occupationally; focusing on cases where exposure to asbestos in talcum powder and makeup products have caused someone’s cancer.
Shaina represents American and international clients. She believes that every victim of asbestos exposure deserves access to justice no matter where they live. Shaina has successfully fought—and continues to fight—to open courthouse doors for victims outside of the United States who have no adequate available forum in their home country.
Shaina’s precedent-setting appellate work, tenacious discovery efforts and fierce motion practice have resulted in millions of dollars in recoveries for her clients.
Prior to joining SGP, Ms. Weissman litigated a myriad of civil issues, including representing tenants and victims of fraudulent “merchant cash advance” loans, before building her asbestos practice. Shaina is admitted to practice law in New York, United States District Courts in New York, and Massachusetts. Shaina graduated from Northeastern University School of Law.
